We can haz a logo !

Liam and I are absolutely thrilled by the amazing reactions and support we’ve been getting for our project this week. So a HUGE thank you to everyone.

In a far away place…

Tons of people have reached out offering different ways to help our project. Even if you’re based in Botswana, if you’ve got an idea for something feel free to get in touch!

That’s not all, folks!

When we first got started, we figured we’d just get a basic site together and start blogging. I mean, there is a lot we want to do (and will do!) but we figure we will build everything else along the way.

Oh yeah, our logo.

One of the things we knew we absolutely needed was a fabulous logo. And I am so incredibly pleased to be able to present you with our fabulous new logo, made by French startup, Creads.

(Isn’t it pretty?)

Thank you, Creads.

For anyone who doesn’t already know Creads, I wrote about the company in TechCrunch last year when they launched in Japan. With 10 employees and over 40,000 designers who are registered on the platform, the company’s creative community has produced inexpensive designs for tons of big-name brands. Plus, I kind of love the story of the two 20-something-year-old co-founders, which rings somewhat like a Silicon Valley success story. Seriously, if you talk to these guys, you’d think business in France was easy as pie.

But seriously, let’s get back to that logo.

Nice egg in the new logo – very ovoid. 🙂

If your are seeking help from the community, maybe it is good idea to publish a list of things in which people may assist you.
Who knows, I might be able to help in a couple of things 🙂

    Bon courage

BTW, as for the logo, personally I prefer small ones that can be coined everywhere. For example the F for facebook, the TC for TechCrunch.
If you can make it small ans easily recognizable it would be far better I guess

A small remark. The logo on the upper left corner should have a link to the home page because it is easier for the user than searching for “home” link

@ziad thanks! I agree, a small logo is best. So we’re just going to use the “Rude” bit as our small logo. Also, I agree with you for the link. We’ll fix it !
